An experimental investigation on admixture compatibility in high strength concrete by using three different admixtures (Sika Visco flow 5201, Fosroc Aura mix 200, Master Glenium Ace 30) was completed during the internship. Master Glenium shows high compressive strength, Sika Visco flow shows required strength whereas Fosroc Aura mix 200 has low compressive strength. Sika Visco flow was found out to be the cheapest among the three and shows required strength in the three trials, so it is the most compactible admixture and is economic in large scale construction.Through the internship, I was able to gain extensive knowledge on qualitative and quantitative analysis of concrete mixture.
