An Engineer & MBA from Mumbai University, I am currently managing the P&L as well as developing Genius Box, a D.I.Y educational toy Brand. I have set up various channels for the brand that is meant for children to learn while they play, beyond school. Genius Box has become one of the top brands in Online and Modern trade. I was able to steer the brand to profitability in 2020, 2 years after joining and 4 years after Inception.In my Last role, I was part of a start-up journey and I managed one of the largest seller Development programs in India for Snapdeal in west zone as Zonal Head- West. My team of almost 100 plus people on-boarded more than 1.5 lakh Sellers and enabled them to sell online. I managed multiple agencies to onboard more than 50 thousand sellers locally in most cities across west zone. I was responsible for entire hunting and farming of the online seller network with a GSV of INR. 700 crores plus. These Sellers contributed to more than 1 crore SKUs spread across categories of Fashion, Home, Electronics and FMCG. At Snapdeal, I was awarded as the best Regional Manager and Zonal Manager for 3 consecutive Years.Prior to completing MBA in marketing in 2007, I worked with BK Birla group of Industries as chemical Engineer in production department of Century Rayon. I was responsible for production and quality of materials required for manufacturing of Rayon fiber. As an in charge of production was able to lead and guide 100 plus skilled employees with my technical Knowledge. During my education, as an Intern, I got a chance to work with various companies like Mahindra Retail, BPCL, NELCO as part of part-time, full-time projects or Live projects that added to my learning during my business education.On a personal front, I love Running and Coaching. I like to Inspire people and give back to Society. I am a believer of Lead by Actions and Lead from Front. Currently, I am coaching 20 Plus people in Mumbai and across the globe on Running, Strength Training, Nutrition and Injury Prevention. I am currently associated with Runner’s High as a Running Coach. Runner’s High is an NGO that helps people to get fitter and the monetary proceeds is completely diverted to the development of under privileged children and women. As a runner, I am currently Training for Full Marathon (42.2 Kms)Always looking for something new, exciting and challenging.
