Malik is a Linguistics PhD Fellow at the Central University of Rajasthan (CU-R).It is a continuation of his choice to contribute to the languages of his home-state, Haryana — Back in 2021, he pondered pursuing a second master’s, either in history or linguistics. He chose linguistics and went to JNU, New Delhi.With PhD, he studies Bangru (Haryanvi) for language contact and LPP. He feels content.He has experience in linguistic fieldwork and data collection, particularly with the Ahirwati, Bangru, and Lamani languages. He has presented my research at various national and international conferences and participated in sereral workshops and summer schools on digital language documentation and corpus building, including those organized by CIIL, ICSSR, IIT Kanpur, the Linguistic Society of Korea, and the University of Toronto. He is regular at academic events to broaden his understanding and engage with others in the field & has had lovely discussions.
