• Sub-contracting – This has been the most important role here. I work closely with more than 50 vendors that provide sub-contracting resources to the company.• Vendor Management – Responsible for being the SPOC for over 50 vendors that provided numerous resources for existing and pipelined projects in Syntel. This included, payment negotiations, Contract management, B2B relations management• Work Force Planning/Man Power Planning - Working closely with PDAC team in planning for new hiring specific to the project requirements. This involved resource forecasting and later allocation to the respective job opening. • Internal Staffing - Recruiting professionals with various skill sets for the requirements as per the plan.Operations - Involved in HR/Recruitment operations and assisted Sr. Management in implementation of new policies.• IJP – Internal Job postings enabled the Syntelites to apply for various job postings in different departments and teams in the same company where they can learn new skills and find new opportunities. I coordinated the IJPs at Syntel. Fulfilling the requirements through internal channels like Bench, future releases, rotation, up skilling & Cross skilling• Stakeholder Communication - Closely working with delivery team on various org. initiatives like Campus Hire Intake & Improvement in its Billable utilization, Effective utilization of Buffer, Cross Skilling / Retooling internal workforce to cater to niche skills etc. Liaison between delivery, recruitment team and staffing partners (vendors) for quick closure of demands.
