Key areas I contributed to as Okta grew from $150MM to $1B in revenue:• Early engineer on the Identity Engine team (now part of Customer Identity Cloud) to platformize Okta's identity solutions. Rearchitected user authentication for a more modular auth platform that enabled any identity experience for our customers.• Led feature pods to drive execution on Okta's Identity Engine. Engaged with engineering directors, product managers, doc and QA and met tight deadlines.• Design public REST APIs that allow developers to embed Okta authentication in their apps.

• Build a zero-trust policy framework for adaptive risk based authentication as part of the MultiFactor Authentication (MFA) team.• Designed and developed MFA solutions using open standards like SAML and Open ID Connect (OIDC) that allow customers to use any identity provider as a second factor for login.• Architected a framework using ElasticSearch for geo-reputation (based on IP address) for Okta's sign-on policies. Now part of Okta ThreatInsights, it is used by all of Okta's customers.• Won awards at Okta Hackathons (Fall '17 & Spring '19)

Gathered requirements from stakeholders and reported directly to the CEO. • As part of this project, I presented the revamped architecture with the design challenges it solved to the R&D division of the company.• Designed and implemented features for both the admin management desktop/web console.
