The 2016 program offers two distinct fellowship tracks for applicants – Nonprofit Leadership and Thought Leadership (for projects such as research papers, publications and documentary films that are not technically nonprofit organizations). The Atlantic Council, in partnership with the Bob Woodruff Foundation, will award a total of $40,000 this year to support veteran-run projects by fellows along these tracks. Grants will be awarded at the end of the fellowship via a competitive pitch process.
