Ai Clams Solutions is a claims processing company and outsources claims processing from many of the top insurers. Due to this AI had built their own claims processing application CARS. This was built using Service Orientated Architecture and uses the K2 workflow engine and BizTalk. I was responsible for 4 test environments, 4 development environments and 2 training environments. With having our own development team I became familiar with the development lifecycle and managed all the software releases into the live environment. I was heavily involved in a successful 6 month Virtualisation & Terminal Services project. We reduced the amount of physical servers in our estate using MS Hyper-V (2008) managed by Systems Centre Virtual Machine Manager. Wyse Thin Client terminals were used to replace workstations and centralise administration, this was done using Terminal Services 2008. I created high and low level designs of the test, development and training environments and documented the installation of each part of the process. Show less -
