Love Blue Inc is a nonprofit beach cleanup organization with a goal and mindset of positively transforming our oceans and world as we know it. Unfortunately, about eight million metric tons of plastic enter our oceans every year, which is negatively affecting a robust amount of species and wildlife. Love Blue's mission, although large, is to decrease these numbers every year by educating and joining communities together to make this world a healthier and cleaner place. Love Blue came to be by a group of friends and lifeguards that were astonished by the amount of trash and debris washing up on our beaches, so we decided to take action. We began utilizing our free time by walking the beaches of Wildwood Crest, NJ every day picking up litter. In only a few weeks, friends, fellow lifeguards, and the community started to join us, starting what we now call "The Blue Movement." As time went on, our love for the ocean grew founder, but sadly the sea became more littered. We knew the next step to slowing down ocean pollution was to make this movement more substantial than just in Wildwood Crest, so Love Blue Inc was born on July 1, 2019.

I am an ocean lifeguard for the Wildwood Crest Beach Patrol, this is my sixth summer working as a lifeguard. We are located in Wildwood Crest, New Jersey. I work from Memorial Day until Labor Day every summer since the summer of 2015. I am currently working there again this summer.
