In this role, I am overseeing facilities operations encompassing safety, security, capital improvements, and maintenance. My primary duties were to oversee facility operating costs, contract expenditures, and future upgrades. I was supervising all workspaces throughout the building to identify equipment in need of repair. I served as the key member of the Institutional Biosafety Committee, and active Safety Committee.Here are some of my accomplishments:• Improved productivity of 2 direct reports that resulted in the 4-time promotion and recognition from CEO and CFO.• Spearheaded $19M renovation project for new state-of-the-art laboratory, animal facility, and office space• Enhanced facility services, safety, and quality, while preventing cost overruns by developing vendor contract specifications, tracking/evaluating project risks, and controlling processes• Executed on-time relocation of 2 laboratory departments to new facility; moved 30 equipment and 25 employees.• Repositioned company assets from acquisitions to several facilities in Connecticut, Needham, and New Jersey.• Devised and coordinated program specifications, requirements for proposals, contracts, and Radiation lab documentation.• Led Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of evaluations to improve work processes and equipment maintenance plans. This resulted in saving Celldex 5-7% on energy costs.• Acted as Technical Expert in performing preventative, corrective maintenance on (2) Trane 100-ton Chillers, (2) Govern Air Handlers, (3) PK & (2) steam boilers, (30) fan coil and vav boxes, and 200 KW emergency generator.• Played an integral role in overseeing pH Neutralization System under #2 Wastewater license, reporting to the MWRA without any violations over the past 15 years.• Established and maintained positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and team members, sharing knowledge with the facilities teams across all sites.
