Amy Jo Conroy joined HUD in 2008 through the Legal Honors Program. Her practice at HUD is currently divided between commercial real estate and public housing. She graduated cum laude from DePaul University College of Law where she was a member of the DePaul Law Review. Ms. Conroy was published in the American Bar Association’s Real Property, Trust & Estate Journal. As a law student, she interned with the Chicago Legal Clinic for 19 months. Prior to law school, Ms. Conroy was the Director of External Relations for the University of Illinois College of Pharmacy. Ms. Conroy has a Bachelor's from Mount Holyoke College. In her free time, she volunteers at her church's legal clinic and advocates for social issues such as the Equal Rights Amendment. Ms. Conroy is a third-generation Chicagoan raising two lacrosse players with her law school sweetheart. She is a member of the Illinois bar, and her favorite superhero is She-Hulk.
