I am a civil litigation attorney with 16 years experience in construction, tort, insurance, and employment disputes. I represent employers and provide risk-management services, as well as employees in litigation including discrimination claims at the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination;I also specialize in complex research and writing projects including but not limited to state and federal appellate work, summary judgment and other dispositive motions, bad faith demand letters, and trial pleadings like motions in limine, motions for directed verdict, motions for new trial, etc. I have drafted dozens of appellate-related documents and more than one hundred miscellaneous multiplex compositions. Additionally, I have successfully argued my briefs and motions in both federal and state arenas.

I investigate, analyze, evaluate, and service insurance claims through litigation, mediation, arbitration, conciliation, and direct negotiation for insurers and provide legal analysis, consultation, and coverage opinions.I represent insurers against bad faith insurance claims as well as insureds as independent/panel counsel and provide risk mitigation for insurers including those engaged in multi-state operations.I also author and argue Motions to Dismiss, Summary Judgment Motions, Applications for Injunctive Relief, and Appeals at the district, superior, and appeals court levels.

I was a civil litigator concentrating on construction, employment, contract, tort, and insurance coverage matters. I drafted articles concerning various employment-related matters and ongoing changes to AIA and Consensus Docs for the K&S Legal News & Views publication and prepared and present risk-management seminars.Also, I have argued issues of constitutional law before the Appeals Court pro bono as part of an effort to afford legal representation to citizens who do not have the financial ability to retain counsel and litigated cases involving Confined Disposal Facilities licensed by the Department of Environmental Protection.
