My name is Alex Dague and I have a passion for programming. My interest in computers started at a very young age because my father is a computer technician. I spent a lot of time during my Summers in Middleschool helping my dad in his computer repair shop so that I could learn more about computers. I first got into programming in my Junior year of highschool when I took a local community college course that taught me the basics of programming. From there I took a C++ and a Java course my senior year. By that point I knew programming was a passion and I got admitted into Iowa State University to pursue my bachelor's degree in Software Engineering. Since I have been working at my Iowa State coursework and learning plenty on various topics such as data structures, algorithms and programming techniques. Throughout my Iowa State career I have used Java, C, C++, C#, Javascript, Python and MIPS assembly. I graduated in May 2020 and am searching for full time employment starting in June.
