Responsible for 5 of the Group's Business Units related to Retail in Fashion, Home and Office Furniture and Furnishing, Home Appliances and Office Stationery. And member of the Executive Board overseeing all the group's companies.Set up the new Company - Better Life in 2003, which became the leader in home appliances and kitchens in the UAE, with its 8 unique Retail Shops, and Distribution and Projects business. Won the best distributor of Siemens Home Appliances in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia, for 3 years and best Distributor for Gigaset phones for two years.Obtained the agencies for a large range of respected International brands, including Fisher and Paykel, Zanussi, Electrolux, Forbes Water Purifiers, and cookware brands from Italy. We also became the distributors for Siematic kitchens from Germany and set up a state of the art showroom in Dubai.The ID Design home furnishing business was revived and had 3 large format Retail Shops 2 in Dubai and 1 in Abu Dhab iwith a total display area of around 100 000 square feet. After many years of negative results, the United Colors of Benetton chain was turned to healthy profits with plans for more stores.New Shops were opened in Mall of Emirates and Dubai Mall, and two new shops for Sisley were also opened. The business model of Al Gurg Stationery was redefined, with the introduction of the first comprehensive B to B and B to C Stationery Portal in the region. A large portion of the sales were moved to the online portal, in addition to the Distribution and Retail businesses. We obtained a large number of new brands from Europe and the far east, and also developed our own line of Stationery including plastic products and recycled paper under the Perfekt brand.The Office Furniture and Floorings business was rebranded as OFIS, and a large new showroom was opened in Dubai. A number of new brands were obtained, including Steelcase from the USA, Parador flooring and others.

Responsible for Wholesale and export business for the Group for 4 years, launching house brands and establishing sales of house brands in the GCC region.Launched the new chain of mid level fashion brand stores called Hour Choice in 1998. This was the first hybrid model of watch retail stores including concessions within Department stores and Hypermarkets, and free standing stores in Malls. By the time moved on, established 42 stores with 18 brands with some of the best known international brands such as DKNY, Diesel, Kenneth Cole, Anne Klein and many more, which came to this region for the first time.
