Lead and oversee the Tank and Combat Recovery Vehicle modernization programs. Oversee key combat vehicle foreign military sales activities.

Responsible for the overall planning, design, development, and testing of the Army’s next fighting vehicle. Led the program through a Milestone A Defense Acquisition Board and oversee two major, competitive development contracts worth over $1B that include both system-level design and prototyping activities. Focus on requirements management, systems engineering, cost-performance trades, and oversaw the operational and technical assessment of selected foreign combat vehicles.

Led survivability-centric activities within the FCS Manned Ground Platform program including armor and active protection development and testing. Synchronized future armor technology development across the program, industry, and the Department of the Army. Developed, analyzed, recommended, and advised the PM and PEO on alternative program acquisition strategies and led Defense Acquisition Board activities.

Responsible for planning, managing, and directing the development and integration of the Reconnaissance and Surveillance and Command and Control Vehicles (RSV and C2V) within the FCS Manned Ground Vehicle program. Routinely assessed earned value, technical performance, and risk to assess contractor performance. Experienced with working closely with a Lead Systems Integrator to oversee and manage design of the vehicles. Led the platforms through key system engineering milestones including Integrated Baseline Reviews, Systems Requirements Reviews, and Systems Functional Reviews with a focus on integrating advanced sensors and communication technologies.

Led an integrated and international team for the development, testing, and fielding of the Army’s $737 Million Dry Support Bridge - a bridge system that significantly changed how Army engineers emplace tactical bridging. Led the program through operational and technical testing achieving Type Classification – Standard, Full Material Release, Milestone C and approval to enter into production. Initiated early operational deployment of the system to support Operation Iraqi Freedom including logistics, maintenance, and training support.

Provided Army-level oversight and advocacy for the Bradley family of vehicles including the Linebacker, C2V, and fire support vehicles. Principle Army Staff Officer responsible for developing, analyzing, and coordinating program positions across the Army, OSD and Congress. Supported the initiation of the IAV (now Stryker) platform demonstration and the initiation of the IAV program by conducting market research, initiating dialog with foreign militaries, and supporting the preparation of international loan agreements for the assessment of foreign vehicles.

Experience with developing and executing training for Senior Army ROTC Cadets and leading various combat engineer and construction units including: Company Commander and Battalion Maintenance Officer, 62nd Engineer Combat Battalion (Heavy); Executive Officer, 7th Engineer Brigade during Operation Desert Shield/Storm; and Engineer Platoon leader within various active duty and National Guard units.
