Globally, tax and accounts preparation activities are conducted mostly in the local countries and hence requires a wide network of EY professionals to work together to deliver to the client expectations. In my role as part of Central Engagement Team, I handle a portfolio of such multi-country engagements/clients and my team works with this global network of EY professionals and client process owners to ensure client’s compliance and reporting obligations across the globe are met on time. In this role, I report directly to Global Engagement leaders (GELs) and Global Engagement Managers (GEMs) and my responsibility includes but are not limited to: Support day to day engagement activities of EMEIA Tax Center clients and effectively bridge between EY professionals, client team members, EY and client headquarters and provide operational support for timely preparation of filings and draft deliveries. Act as the engagement SPOC and escalations point of contact and provide situational analysis and solutions for mitigating issues and risks in engagement operations. Chair and lead global service level agreement reporting meetings between EY and Client headquarters and provide key perspective to leadership on monthly SLA achievements, challenges, process gaps and areas of improvements Review and identify service delivery and process gaps which can be improved to increase qualitative and quantitative service delivery indicators Setup, review and manage engagement contracting and financials including change order management, scope and fees management, future finance planning, projection, and analysis. Ensure engagement management tools are set up and maintained real time for EY and client headquarters to access and understand tax and accounts filling status across the globe Manage team performance and mentor and coach staff members on best practices on project management, client management, teaming and other professional attributes for them to grow in their career.

During my stint as the Lead for the GDS WSS Team, I was responsible for the day to day operations and reporting of the GDS WSS Team which includes and not limited to:► Working along with a global clientele spread across Asia-Pacific, EMEIA, and Americas in planning virtual events/webcasts, preparation of content and process flow, speaker/s and participant management, and effective delivery of live-events► Supervision, management and motivation of a 07 member team by effective delegation and goal setting► Monitoring team performance and discover training needs to coach team members on all webcast platforms such as ON24, WebEx, Adobe Connect etc and other soft skills► Internal quantitative and qualitative reporting of team metrics to the leadership and management of potential risks and issues by query resolutions and handling escalation► Identifying process improvement opportunities for individuals and team, and implementing the corrective measures to increase team productivity.► Perform strong business development activities to identify new clients and maintain positive and long term relationship with existing clients

Setup and piloted 03 member event management team for EY’s EMEIA FSO Advisory Learning and Development Service Line focussing on delivering administrational and project management support for largescale global events ranging between 100-1000 participants globally and provided onsite support in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

As the Asia-Pacific GCR network coordinator, I was a part of the elite Asia-Pacific Global Compliance & Reporting (GCR) Leadership teams, with the other members being global and area level leaders of GCR. My role required to be able to coordinate between various teams to drive or launch existing or new projects and services. Project description includes but not limited to:► Drive and Launch new services and projects:o Managed and deployed GCR SharePoint and leadership site in Asia-Pacific GCR practiceo Driven and launched GDAS in Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Chinao Webcast Management - full management of webcast, from invitations to upload of final webcast on Global knowledge site► Event Support - Provide support to upcoming and ongoing global and Asia-Pacific specific tax events through invitations, decks, facilities arrangement, onsite support etc► Leadership Communications -Draft, review and distribute leadership communications to entire Asia-Pacific GCR Community► Leadership Calls - Coordinate on various leadership calls by creating agendas, distributing invites, confirming acceptance, attending and taking notes, store records in Leadership repositories► Knowledge Repositories and GLMS -Own and manage various knowledge repositories and group list management systems, edit and manage memberships, contents etc. I own and manage 6 knowledge repositories in Microsoft SharePoint and Lotus e-rooms, and 87 GLMS lists.► Other Adhoc support – Provide Adhoc support to clients based upon request like creating publications complying with EY branding guidelines, deck preparation, data mining and analysis, report and chart creations, project charter creation and management, contact book keeping etc.► On-board Coaching and Training – includes coaching to new employees and training to existing employees on various tools ranging from MS PowerPoint to EY Webcasts
