• Dr. AJEET JAISWAL (Ph.D., Delhi University, India, 2009) is an Associate Professor at the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health, Central University of Tamil Nadu. He was Assistant Professor in the Department of Anthropology, Pondicherry University (2010-2020). He is an author of Ten (10) books, written more than 85 papers and articles, published in different National and International reputed, referred, and peer-reviewed research journals, books, and Magazines. Several of his lecture telecast on Swayam Prabha (Free DTH Channel for Education) on Ecological Anthropology: Cultural and Biological Dimensions. He also prepared the Physical and Financial Annual Progress Report of the Ministry of Rural Development, Govt. of India. Written more than 45 Units or Modules for IGNOU and PG e- Pathshala (An Ministry of Human Resource Development Project under its National Mission on Education through ICT (NME-ICT) also Recorded (both Audio and Video) more than 45 Lectures for paper Anthropology, under e-PG Pathshala Project. He is an editorial board member and reviewer member of more than 30 International and National reputed, referred and peer-reviewed and research journals and has attended more than 100 International and National Seminars, Workshops, Lectures, Exhibitions, Orientation Courses, Refresher Courses, and Summer Courses. He was appointed as a Nodal Officer for the Student Satisfaction Survey, under the scheme of PMMMNMTT, Ministry of Human Resource Development. Delivered several Endowment Lecture, Keynote Address, Invited speakers, and Special Lecture. Three times he received Best Paper Award from University Sains, Penang, Malaysia-2012, Dr. A. Sharma Memorial Best Paper Award from the University of Delhi-2015, and Jammu University-2016. He was Convener of several international Panels like IUAES-2013, Manchester, United Kingdom-; IUAES-2014Chiba, Japan; IUAES- 2015 Inter- Congress, Bangkok, Thailand, IUAES- 2018, Brazil, IUAES- 2019 Inter- Congress, Poznan, Poland, and Lifetime Membership of many Educational Bodies. He also developed a Physical/Biological Anthropology Lab in the Department of Anthropology, Pondicherry. Recently Received Young Progressing Career Achievement Award for his contribution in the field of Anthropology in India by the Department of Anthropology, Delhi University, Delhi 2018, and received many other awards. He has also taken part in various Anthropological Development Programmes.
