Dr. Andy Jett is a Dean and Associate Professor of Leadership at the College of Innovative Professional and Graduate Studies and Chief Growth Officer at Avila University, where he leads the faculty and staff in supporting adult undergraduate, graduate, non-credit, and international enrollments and academic programming. With over 30 years of experience in higher education, he has a Doctor of Education degree and a passion for transforming, dynamic, and accessible learning environments that empower students to become ethical, lifelong learners, and leaders in their chosen fields.He is skilled in strategic planning, executive leadership, teaching, process review, change management, accreditation, relationship building, project management, data-driven decision-making, collaboration, communications, conflict management, and training and development. He has a strong track record of achievement, including launching an AI tool to assist with retention efforts, completing several critical accreditation visits, and developing a new master planning process. He is also an active board member of several organizations that promote education, research, and community service. He is dedicated to supporting the growth and success of his faculty, staff, and students.
