I manage a team of two, and have responsibility for a cross functional sub-department of the grocery department at my location. I write product orders, manage inventory, build and maintain displays, adjust inventory levels to improve forecasts, and work backstock.

I transitioned to a daytime position. Here i was tasked with running backstock, recording inventory levels for one of the largest departments in the store, training new employees, assisting in multiple sub-departments, and building and planning displays. I worked closely with the both the grocery manager and the dairy lead during this time, and was utilized in various areas due to my versatility and experience.

I was an overnight stocker in the frozen food department during the launch of the cross-functional frozen program, giving me responsibilities in four departments with a primary focus in the frozen grocery section. I wrote orders, built displays, recorded current inventory levels in order to improve the forecasts for the ordering systems, and, most often, stocked the shelves with our on hand inventory.

I managed a crew of nine overnight stockers in the grocery department. I also worked as a stocker myself, still maintaining an aisle set of my own on top of my other duties. I was also responsible for overnight receiving duties and performing other duties as necessary. This was the highest ranking overnight position available at my store at the time, functioning similarly to an overnight manager.

I was responsible for stocking and maintaining the backstock on a set of aisles.

• Responsible for independent project related to the Trailer Return Center (TRC) Division of the Super Regional Distribution Center• Tasked to optimize processes for significantly different structural layout for the TRC, promote efficient utilization of space, provide labor head count, provide schedule of workforce based on head count, and provide adjustments to SOP regarding roles of dock workers• Created a mathematical model to minimize distance for trailer unloads resulting in improved efficiency and time reduction for labor• Created a scale model of the facility to provide data for the mathematical model given the actual TRC wasn’t built• Presented results to Transportation Executives and Leaders and majority of feedback result ratings were Exceeds Expectations
