Views are my own.In international trade for a few and teaching for many years, I have been coaching rowing at various levels for most of my adult life.Since 2011, a coach at Rowing South Africa and on a crew level, coach of the RSA u23 crews between 2010 and 2013 and also the senior women's crews between 2013, up to and including the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.I started in the role of Junior National Head Coach in November 2018 and continued with this role until September 2021. In this time I also stepped into a new role as Director of Rowing at St. Alban’s College in my home town Pretoria.Currently, back with the RMB National Squad as senior national team coach since October 2021.Passionate about rowing - particularly in South Africa 🇿🇦 - I hope to be part of development of future champions and coaches. As well as using the sport for the amazing educational tool that it is.
