I had the privilege to travel literally around the world on multiples of occasions and see our precious world through the eyes and thoughts of so many amazing human beings. It has humbled me today and impacted my life dramatically. During my time with K&R we established a solid long term European, Asia Pacific business relationships that exceeded revenue goals significantly. - We worked as a team and closed a Global Multi Million USA Dollar Training Program with a USA Company. We built teaming relationships with competitive training organizations to enable collaborative approach in delivering greater value to the clients for negotiation and sales training. We established a significant coaching development program for senior executives and their sales teams. I was based from London, England for 2 years and Ridgefield, CT for 4 years.

Founded by a Welsh entrepreneur and was acquired by Munich-based DCI-AG in May 2000 for 85 Million Deutsch Marks (DM85m). I was asked to come in an streamline the business operations to meet the German business goals and mandates. Within 2 months the company become cash positive and our sales volume increased dramatically due to a new business contract with a UK IT Services company. Based from Cardiff, Wales during this assignment.

Optika Inc based in Colorado Springs, Co was a software company that provides software solutions for data processing and transaction purposes. Optika was to be later purchased by Stellent Inc. Optika EMEA HQ was initially based in Munich Germany and I was asked to assist our financial comptroller to move the company European HQ to Old Woking, England which we eventually moved to Theale, England for better access to London Heathrow Airport. Our Munich Operations was permanently closed thereafter. During my time with Optika I led the company to highly visible and successful new client agreements. We created successful software deployments with Siemens UK, Rothschild Bank and Japan Tobacco (formally RJ Reynolds Tabacco) to name just a few. We created a list of top resellers through Europe and the Middle East and grew our business operations in Kuwait and UAE substantially. This success could not have happened if it had not been for the outstanding support of our USA based technical teams working diligently with our UK based software team. My time with Optika UK was impactful and deeply meaningful to me. I enjoyed reporting to our Chairman Mark Ruport. One of my most memorable escapades with Mark was when we had been traveling together. We had been sitting at an airport waiting for our flight. Mark asked me what time it was. As we sat there enjoying a frosty beverage we suddenly hear our names being called for the last call to the gate. I suddenly realized that my watch was not on the correct time. We had to run at a significant pace to just barely catch our flight, breathing heavy and sweating ridiculously he looks at me and I say "oops".....Based from London, England and Cardiff, Wales for this assignment.

Durham Electronics is a specialty micro component company that specialized in supplying military and non military graded micro components. Our products ranged from Japanese and Canadian piezo crystals to USA military grade components. Our customer base was telecommunications, police agencies, military communication devices and aerospace / military manufacturers. We worked with companies like CAE Inc. of Montreal, Bombardier Inc., SNC-Lavalin Group, General Dynamics Canada and Northstar Aerospace Inc. I developed a joint venture agreement between NDK of Japan and Durham Electronics that proved to be highly successful for both organizations. Based from Montreal, Quebec and Tokyo, Japan during this assignment.

RD Associates was a company founded by Ross Dix, one of the most focused individuals I have ever had the pleasure and privilege to work with and for. RD Associates was based in Toronto, Ontario and Montreal, Quebec. My initial role was to help in the development of existing and new clients in the Military Aerospace community between Toronto and Montreal. I spent considerable time working from Toronto to Ottawa and then Montreal. During this time I enjoyed significant success in building good long lasting business and formed business relationships with senior executives of large Canadian companies. My most significant win was when we secured a sizeable contract with the Ministry of Transportation. It fundamentally changed our companies growth and stature in the market place. I was asked to travel and work with a Hong Kong based company and build inroads to China and Japan. This assignment led us to new levels of business and our being invited to China during a very interesting time in Chinese history. My time in China during this period was remarkable and a learning experience I have never forgotten. Based from Toronto, Ontario and Tokyo,Japan and Hong Kong.
