Worked on a multipurpose 24-person team throughout several video productions, and collaborating with other departments across the state on many projects sharing assets.Primary cameras used (Canon XLH1, & Sony HDC-1500R) in field productions and in a live show setting for conferences. Assisted in the production of multiple live events, and rich media broadcasts using the TriCaster broadcast system with a three-camera setup.Along with Public Affairs, planned, set up, and ran multiple events for various groups for fundraising, yearly conferences, or morale events for soldiers.Transferring, editing, and encoding/transcoding footage following media format standards for internal projects (sometimes used for Congressional funding requests) and external projects for use by the Public Affairs office, and recruitment.Use of VIOS (Visual Information Ordering Site) for metrics and requests with the VI national officeaveraging 20-30 support tickets a day.Worked closely with the KY State Historian converting and archiving hundreds of past eventsfrom tape to digital format using the codec, file wrapper, and applicable metadata as directed.Tasked with A/V support on base and for the 61 National Guard Armories across the state.Trained production crew on our ticketing system and help streamline their media workflows andbriefing senior leadership at daily meetings of our needs schedule and goals.Provided senior management with visual information product, services, consultations andequipment necessary to support their functional needs.
