Load-Rating of curved steel-girder bridges. ֎ High level of competency in application of bridge finite-element analysis/design software, like, CSiBridge, MIDAS Civil, SAP2000, StaadPro, LARSA-4D, etc. Expertise in nonlinear staged-construction analysis, deck-pour sequences. Well-versed in seismic rehabilitation/retrofit of structures. ֎ Major experience in analysis, design and detailing of suspension/complex CRITICAL bridges include, (1) TBTA The Verrazano-Narrows Suspension Bridge, 3-D Finite Element Model & Analysis, (2) PANYNJ JFK T1-West Approach 9-span highly skewed and curved bridge, (3) PANYNJ LaGuardia L-26 six-span highly skewed and curved bridge (4) NYCDOT, Rehabilitation of Manhattan side Approaches and Ramps of Brooklyn Suspension Bridge, and (5) PANYNJ, Manhattan Approach Ramps to George Washington Suspension Bridge. ֎ Proficient in design of CIP and precast-segmental lining of tunnels, large diameter deep drop-shafts, slurry-walls, Support-of-Excavation (SOE) systems, rock-anchors, water-reservoirs, retaining walls, pile foundations, buried pipes, tangent and secant pile walls, etc. for static and seismic loading.֎ Ph.D. in Seismic Structural Engineering from Syracuse University, NY in 2009. Recipient of the 2008-09 Wen-Hsiung & Kuan-Ming Li Fellowship awarded for the most outstanding doctoral researcher. Recipient of Syracuse University Distinguished Fellowship Awards for 3 years.
