CurrentAjit Kumar, Managing Partner, Evolvence India Fund, leads the core operations of EIF from straegy, deal originations, monitoring investments, generating exits and investor relations. EIF sponsors are Evolvence Capital and New York Life Insurance/GoldPoint Partners. At EIF Ajit manages 15 funds and 14 co-investments and he represents on the Board of co-investment companies, Investment Committees and Advisory board of underlying funds. Ajit has over 25 yearsβ hands on experience in private equity investments. At his prior engagement at a multifamily office in the middle east he has been responsible for managing a diversified portfolio where he has allocated capital to more than 130 Private Equity and Venture Capital Funds, direct and co-investments across various sectors, themes and strategies in India and other geographies. Ajit has served on the board and its sub-committees of various public and private entities in BFSI, Steel, Construction & Engineering, Chemicals, Consumer and Service Sectors. Ajit has also been involved in several middle market M&A, Consolidation and Management Buy-outs. Ajit holds an MBA from London Business School.
