Design Manager in the newly established “Central Design Department” where initial development of infrastructure, selection of software, selection of equipments like Plotter, printer, scanners was taken up.Further, as Project Manager also took up Modernization of Draw Line No.4 of Polyester Staple Fibre (PSF) plant of Bongaigaon Refinery which includes dismantling of existing Draw line and installation of both new and old selected equipment for improvement of quality of PSF plant product. Further took up machining of compressor value seats. All machining were carried out at situ with self developed attachments and cutting tools.c) Also took up special repair assignment for repair of Flaker Drum shaft within tolerance limit of +-0.4 mm because of which import of spare Flaker Drum from Germany could be avoided. d) During the period in Mobile Equipment & Rigging Section, Documentation for standardization of various types of vehicles, Welding Machines, tubes, tyres, belts, water pumps, self-starters etc. was carried out. e) Took up special assignment for codification of all equipment / parts of equipments of entire “Central Workshop” which totalled to approx. 25,000 items.f) Developed Documentation for recording keeping against Repair of Equipment / Vehicles / Fire Tenders/ Cranes etc. for assessment of Maintenance Cost.
