• Conduct situational analysis and identify opportunities and challenges for improving RMNCH+A service delivery in the assigned district.• Provide support to the district health mission in planning, implementing and monitoring District Health Action Plan.• Facilitate in operationalizing facilities such as the Health and Wellness Centres, Delivery Points, First Referral Units, fixed day services for Family Planning, Sick New Born Care Units, Nutritional rehabilitation centre as per the priority needs of the district.• Facilitate in implementing flagship programs such as Sampurna, PMSMA, JSY, JSSK, Biju Swasthya KalyanaYojana, RKSK, Mission Indradhanush, and such others. • Facilitate child health, tuberculosis control and other national programmes such as the Revised National Tuberculosis Control Program (RNTCP) that are monitored in the aspirational district• Facilitate in quality assurance mechanisms under various programmes such Family Planning, LaQShya, NQAS etc. • Assist in developing micro-plans and in monitoring VHNDs, Routine Immunization sessions and other out-reach public health initiatives especially in hard to reach • Undertake field visits for supportive supervision and provide feedback to the District, Block & field level officials for improving services, ensuring convergence and integrated service delivery. • Analyze the HMIS data, including quality of data, to measure the progress made in key indicators, rank blocks on the basis of health services rendered and overall performance of community processes. Present findings at the monthly meetings of the Medical Officers. Set up a system of ranking blocks/health facilities and in designing differential support to poor performing blocks• Facilitate in collaboration and convergence with stakeholders, to prioritize attainable health outcomes in the short, medium and long term• Carry out any other program related activities as and when required and as advised by UNFPA/NHM.

• Organizing, coordinating, facilitating and supervising capacity building programs on family planning related issues and respectful care at the district and block level.• Designing and developing training and resource materials as per project requirement.• Coordinate with establish linkage with districts hospital, CHCs, ANMs, PRI members, RKS, DQAC, Quality Circle and etc.• Planning, implementing, monitoring and supervision of project activity at district level.• Regular participation in the district/Block level meetings such as DHS/CMO/DCMO/Block level meeting.• Program reporting, case studies, monthly and quarterly report and other document as per the requirement.• Conducting communities outreach, dissemination of messages and materials and assist the state coordinator in day to day planning and execution.• Providing technical Support for the implementation of RKSK in the Bilaspur district of Chhattisgarh.

• Design / develop age-based projects for children and youth, using participatory approach and actively involves children and youth. Based on the above, work with the Area Manager to prepare the Annual Operating plan for the Area as a whole• Implement the common programs on the thematic area and monitor progress and guide the field team on their activities.• Interact with the children and communities to measure the impact of project activities and identify any gaps / issues to be addressed• Facilitate technical assistance and handholding support to the partners as required for program implementation.• Plan and conduct training and capacity building activities for the communities directly or through external consultants as required• Build associations and rapport in the community especially for participation of children, youth and families in the program activities.• Network with local bodies / authorities to leverage resources and facilitate convergence of various community initiatives.• Support the field teams and work closely with the partner organizations on all project related activities• Managing Grant Projects (Local Book Development, Solarization in School, and A Research Project on Early Learning and Development Standards).• Develop case studies and technical documents to demonstrate program impact and provide material for central Grant / Fund-raising teams.
