Designed and implemented a tier-1 and hardened RESTful API that translated device specific data and state to Application facing Alexa App understandable format. It is a low-latency API integrated with AWS DynamoDB to support 50,000+ API read requests. Built an automated 2-phase translation engine for generating GraphQL query language schema spec from Open API Spec. It was scalable and extensible for generating model files in Java and Kotlin. This saved around 50 calendar days of manual work for engineers. Designed and implemented support to add alarm sensors support in Alexa Mobile Application including security notifications mechanism. Built an infrastructure for writing service integration tests in Native AWS and next gen serverless frameworks to enable continuous deployment of code in software release pipelines without needing to maintain and patch any EC2 capacity.
