In Amazon Pharmacy, I am part of the customer engagement team which dealt with the home page of Amazon Pharmacy and several supporting applications, all the way from development to Production. • Implemented a spring boot based API on AWS ECS, AWS S3 which allowed business users to rapidly deploy static content so it could be available on Amazon Pharmacy. This API has recorded a maximum of 5700 requests/second. • Implemented throttling in application using Amazon internal throttling libraries and AWS AppConfig(so the throttling rules could be changed dynamically, in case of an incident)• Automated deployment processes using AWS Pipelines, CodeBuild. Implemented performance improvements by using streaming (instead of a more memory intensive approach) and single query entity framework option.• Proposed, implemented and rolled out reference data microservice by using a read-through cache layer using ASP.Net Core cache..• Created automated CI/CD pipelines (using Jenkins and shell\powershell scripts).
