• Project in charge of execution of Un Reserved Ticketing System in Palghat division of Southern Railway covering 55 locations.• Responsibilities include Site survey and design of cable plan, UG,OH ,documentation of drawing and approval from concerned departments. Overall co-ordination of cable laying, deployment of modems, Switches, Routes and other accessories and Installation, testing, integration , configuration & commissioning of Modem, Converters, SDH equipment and accessories.• Project in charge of execution of replacement of Overhead telecommunications network in Shoranur –Nilambur section with OFC Communciation Project in charge of execution of replacement of SDH equipments, Digital Primary Drop Insert Mux and Power supply arrangements in Shoranur- Mangalore section (36 Locations)Responsibilities includePre-execution Survey and Planning for the Proposed Projects Submitting documentation with proposed drawings for approval from Concerned Department.Inspect all Quantity Aspects for Supply of Material.Handling Project Site Team Overall co-ordination of OFC Roll Out, i.e. Underground Optical Fiber Cable Installation through HDPE Telecom Ducts, Splicing of the OFC, Termination at the Sites ensuring proper connectivity with correct parameters and specifications.  480 KM OFC Section In-charge in Kerala, supervising a team of 30 Installation, configuration and testing of SDH equipment’s with different capacities of STM’s (Synchronous Transport Module).  E1 provisioning and integrating NE’s (Network Elements) into the NMS in coordination with NOC (Network Operating Centre).  Supporting the deployment of Outside Plant teams.  Coordination with NOC for restoration of network.  Conducting technical meeting with customers to solve their technical issues.  Drafting Service Level Agreement’s and Key Point Indicator’s.  Coordinating with various work groups and customers for service delivery.  Conducting site acceptance tests.  Monitoring of alarms and troubleshooting.  To do the joint measurement with contractor representative for As Built Drawing, billing purpose.  Termination of cables and testing it using OTDR and using power source and meter.  Environmental sensors testing and upkeep - for NOC to detect all alerts. Provide on-site smart hands & feet to support (for replacement of hardware, rebooting, jack-in, jack-out) for remote diagnostics; Spares management: Stocking inventory: managing movement of spares and replenishment if they go below desired inventory level Periodic audits of all the sites, initiate and manage projects to fix defects; Ensuring reliable power at each site - A/C power, D/C power, MCBs, DG sets, trippers, redundancy of power feeds, testing of power feeds etc. Audits of equipment failures to determine root cause. OFC & equipment redundancy & diversity planning; Maintaining rack level physical inventory (powered devices) that includes SDH Mux, DWDM, Routers, Layer 2 switches ,Media convertors etc. Reducing Mean Time to Repair; Provide field support in capacity expansions and new network integration testing; Track and optimize operational expenses for site maintenance; Ensure compliance with regulatory agency guidelines and standards;
