Perform DFR activities for all the products under development.Conduct Derating Analysis for all the design under development and identify the over stress components and make sure the changes are done before the Gerber release.Analyze the life limiting components in the design for ensure there is sufficient margin by design is provided for all the life limiting components. This is mostly done for Electrolytic CapacitorsPerform WECEPTA (Worst Case Circuit Part Tolerance Analysis) for all the variable regulators in the design and ensure the design is under the process capability. Else recommend for AVL update.Conduct FMEA at Piece Part level, Understand the functionality of FPGA and Processors and carefully evaluate the risks.Perform Availability calculation for the entire systemEstimate the Field Reliability of the products in the field and track them against the target AFR by Performing Field data Analysis which includes extracting field data from SAP database using SQL and perform pareto Analysis and Analyze the data using Wiebull++ for estimating field reliability.Conduct Field Review on Fortnight basis and identify the top failures that are not meeting the AFR guidelines and Prepare Tasks for FA( Failure Analysis) and engage with the FA team to identify the Failure modes and ensure Corrective action is in place and monitor the field performanceConduct HALT on all the systems, identify the design weakness and ensure the design is robust.Conduct STRIFE for all the power supplies or Ask the manufacturer STRIFE data and ensure test are done as per the standards.Conduct ORT, conduct weakly ORT meetings and ensure the ORT failure are captured and the failure are gone through the FA process and the FA findings are constantly reviewed and ensure for critical failures desing change process is initiated

Work with the Customers to Identify the Reliability Requirements from the Voice of Customer and help the systems team to define and arrive the System Specification and Design Specification Documents.Help Customers to set the Reliability Goal for those who does not have Reliability TargetsIdentify and Develop Reliability Plan very early in the planning stage and estimate the resource requirement for implementing DFR.Build Reliability into to the design by following DFR Concepts into each and every stage of product development life cycle.Conduct Risk Analysis as per ISO 14971Perform DFR activities like Prediction using MIL HBK 217, Telcordia, PRISM and NPRD database.
