Experience in various disciplines of Coal based power generation ie, Construction, Project Monitoring, Operation & Maintenance etc. for 33 years in large sized coal power plants.Out of which, I was working for more than 19 years in NTPC, a leading Power generation company in Indian Public Sector.I was working with CLP india, a Group Company of CLP Holding , Hongkong for 6 years. While in CLP India , I was leading the Mechanical group of 2x 660 MW Super Critical Power Generation unit at Jhajjar in Haryana.in 2015 June, I have joined Adani Power at Ahmedabad in the corporate Operations & Technical services as a Subject Matter Expert in Boiler & Aux . I am leading the Center of Excellence (Boiler) . Adani Power has 8 coal fired power stations with an installed capacity of 15000 MW at various locations in India, most of which are based on Super critical technology of steam generation.Throughout my Career , I have drawn satisfaction through driving & leading the organization to the next level of operation by the involvement in various activities , Development of strategy for Safe ,Efficient and Reliable operation of the Coal based power plants, trouble shooting and Root cause analysis, driving the initiatives for achieving the best Key Performance indicators of a power plant , establishment of systems and standards to drive organization to the next level of Operation.I have led safety initiatives in the organization by leading the implementation of Process Safety Management system , apart from developing suitable standards for safe work environment in an O&M power plant.Review & analysis of various plant operating parameters by analyzing the trend and early prediction of failures .Development of O&M strategies for achieving Zero Forced Outages in between the scheduled outages.Driving procedures , standards & review procedures to Manage the Changes successfully .Root cause analysis and its implementation of suitable actions to avoid the recurrence of the failures.Control of Spares inventory by suitable analysis of the inventory and implementation of technical upgradation , increase of Mean Time between Failures etc.Improvisation of work methods to improve the mean time to repair.
