As the founder of Plaskon Plastics Eco Circular Pvt. Ltd, I am passionate about building a circular economy for plastic waste management. Plaskon is a social enterprise that provides recycled feedstocks from plastic waste to brands for their packaging needs, while empowering the livelihoods of the bottom of the pyramid waste collectors and recyclers.With my background in civil engineering and my skills in environmental awareness, waste management, and recycling techniques, I have developed a decentralized approach that loops the social plastics to the post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials, boosting the recycling rate and reducing the dependence on mined raw materials. I have also helped companies fulfill their extended producer responsibility (EPR) obligations and design products that are more eco-friendly and circular.
