Current• Controlling Operation & Maintenance of 110kV substation, switching operations including fault identification and rectification which resulted in reduced fault time and improving power efficiency.• Programming and designing of Schneider SCADA based substation automation control system and HMI units which are used for controlling power equipment that include Transformers, isolators, protective relays and switching operations.• SLD drafting using AutoCAD for substation layouts and electrical panels. Preparing schematics of control and protection panels, manufacturing documents and cubicle drawings and auxiliary power system designing.• Operations of protective relays of all major EHV panel (ABB, Alstom, Crompton Greaves, Megawin) and it’s maintenance.• Good knowledge on understanding the schematics of control and relay panels.• Proficient in algorithms and design of all major protective relays.• Supervised CT and PT (both 110 kV) overhauling unit (one amongst the 3 in Kerala under KSEBL) and could successfully improve the efficiencies of 23 damaged CTs and 9 PTs, making them reusable.• Supervised maintenance work for Power Transformers, Switchgears, Lightning Arrestors, RMUs, isolators etc.• Responsible for maintaining the safety measures at job site.• Inspected and documented work conducted for ensuring quality control requirements are met on the work site.• 110KV and 11KV Circuit breaker erection and maintenance. Responsible for cable size calculation, cable scheduling and its route.• Hands on experience with electrical test kits like Megger, Doble, BDV test kit etc.
