The imperial Institute of Higher Education was incorporated in October 1996, as a private tertiary education Institution. IIHE offers Undergraduate and Postgraduate degrees in association with the, world renowned, University of Wales in the United Kingdom. The degrees awarded are validated degrees of the University of Wales (UoW).These programs can be completed entirely in Sri Lanka. However, if the students so desire they can proceed to the UK after completing year 1 or even after completing year 2. • IIHE currently offers the following Degrees,• B.Sc. (Hons) Business Management with specializations in HR, marketing and Finance.• B.Sc. (Hons) Software Engineering• Master of Business Administration (MBA) with specialization in HR, Marketing and Finance. IIHE is the only institution in Sri Lanka directly associated with the University of Wales and offers their validated degrees in Business Management and Computing as well as MBA.

• Lectured for Certificate in Banking and Finance (CBF) – IBSL Sri Lanka accredited programme on General Management, Banking and Finance, Edexcel (HND), Information Technology. • Was in charge of all operational related responsibilities for the school, which was also an accredited centre for Edexcel HND – ICT (UK).• Structured and developed a Diploma Course in Computing for A.G.S. and obtained the approval of the TVEC. This turned out to be a popular course that brought substantial benefits to the organization and to the students.• Direct involved in all activities of this institution – AGS - such as marketing, finance and business promotion etc. and thereby gained experience in running a business school efficiently and successfully.• Introduced many professional courses such as CIMA, CIM, IPM (HR), and Diploma in Banking etc. with great success. • In collaboration with the British Council, introduced a number of English Language courses leading to Cambridge and City & Guilds Examinations including IELTS, thereby gaining a good knowledge in handling CIMA, Edexcel-HND, ICDL on-line systems.• Obtained ISO 9001-2008 Certification and a grant from ADB, for this institution through ICTA.
