The research will also provide insights into the role of external B2B marketing partners and may discover related prospective new topics for further research. For practice, the findings of the study will provide key insights to decision-makers that will help to strategically position B2B EMs within their distribution channel network. The case study will demonstrate how an omnichannel strategy will result in a more effective sales model for SMEs when they engage in online marketplaces.
