Setup the tech division and related SDLC processes in the new offshore office (Bangalore) - Design, Dev, Mobile app, DevOps, QA, CRM, MIS, BI, Data Sciences teams. Teams focussed on delivering to business KPIs.Had complete end-to-end ownership of technology and product functions.Architected and built next generation learning platform (Phoenix). This enabled us to conduct live streaming lessons for more than 25,000 students simultaneously. Rolled out iOS and Android apps so that students could consume content on the go.Built an automated AI/NLP chatbot system (Morpheus). This assisted educators and SME in answering students questions live during classes. Morphues could respond to 85% of all student queries.Built out profiling models using ML to gain insights into student attendance and buying patterns. This allowed sales and marketing organizations to be more efficient and competitive in their campaigns.Major overhaul of IT systems and infrastructure - huge reductions in operational costs.

As part of the Cloud Platform Group, built highly scalable and robust platforms that are used by properties and applications to deliver awesome user experience for the 800+ million users who visit Yahoo every month.Key projects I worked on:♦ Yahoo Infrastructure Services (YIS) - This is the next generation IaaS platform that completely automated all load balancer and VIP configuration and provided one-step configuration incorporating Yahoo’s internal network and security policies.♦ Membership/Identity Management - The core Yahoo platform that manages all user subscription and profile data. Owned the Account Recovery, Account Lifecycle, and Metrics Analysis services.♦ Cloud Serving Engine (CSE) - This is the private cloud platform used within Yahoo to host applications. Built the first version, which apart from the traditional IaaS aspects, included integration with the internal Yahoo application stack and tight coupling with the CI framework.

Built as a high performance, scalable, high-available application using JBoss it offers full FCAPS including provider grade provisioning capabilities♦ Built the ScreenPlay interface using Adobe Flex and SOAP to provide web- based interface for all of Extreme’s switches.♦ Built the InSite software development kit (SDK) that provided a SOAP based netconf compliant XML API interface to manage Extreme’s switches. The InSite SDK was a key differentiator for Extreme and crucial to winning new customers.♦ Integration of partner products- Avaya’s AIM Network Management software, Siemens/Chantry wireless products, Motorola wireless
