At CWLA I worked on various tasks related to best practices in child welfare. I organized a database of articles that addressed key gaps outlined in the 21st National Research Agenda. Additionally, I collaborated with others to compile document briefs focusing on behavioral and emotional out-of-home aftercare supports. I also assisted with numerous webinars focused on gun violence and trauma, responding to youth with emotional/behavioral health challenges, and establishing programs using DEI principles. Furthermore, I published articles related to child welfare in CWLA's Networker, The Children's Monitor, and The Voice Magazine, hoping to extend knowledge and valuable resources to the field.

During the summer of 2023, I had the opportunity to develop and conduct research projects with the Legal Attitudes Lab. I analyzed numerous jury transcriptions, with the overarching goal of developing a comprehensive coding scheme to understand the decision-making processes of jury members. After crafting a coding framework, I worked closely with faculty and students to refine it and optimize its functionality. Furthermore, I helped undergraduate students master the use of the coding scheme, helping to ensure consistency and reliability in the process. It was a rewarding experience contributing to both research advancement and student development.

While working at EPCC, I held various roles. I began as a summer camp counselor in 2015, and transitioned to other positions over time, including becoming an assistant preschool teacher, and an assistant kindergarten teacher. At EPCC, I helped provide personalized support to students facing emotional and behavioral health challenges, fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for everyone. I also collaborated with my peers to create customized comprehension plans to meet each student's unique needs. In this environment, I communicated with students, staff, and parents to ensure the children's well-being and success.
