I love using data to tell stories. Data can be used to advance equity, push policy changes, and inform interventions. When we conduct research using best practice in design and methodology, we can have confidence in the data we collect. We can turn these numbers into a compelling narrative that explains patterns, uncovers heterogeneity, and encourages rich conversation. I am currently a Senior Research Scientist at a statistical consulting firm, Far Harbor LLC. Before this, I was the CEO of my own consulting company, Compelling Analytics, which worked with organizations to build their internal data and research capacity. My personal and professional experiences have taught me the following things about myself:I can take a project from vision to completion.-You can trust me to put together a team, understand each person's strengths and opportunities for growth, and create ways to allow each member of the team contribute meaningfully to the projects. I put people first.-Sometimes in data analytics, it's easy to forget that the numbers on a spreadsheet correspond to actual people. You can trust me to keep people first.
