As an analyst for PACS, I have the opportunity to research, write, and analyze data to inform efforts to mobilize the University of Pittsburgh's resources to enrich the lives of children and families in Homewood.

As part of the Homewood Children's Village's Office of Research and Evaluation, I worked one-on-one with site directors at three schools in Homewood, as well as staff and principals, to help design programs, logic models, and evaluation plans. Further, I built, cleaned, analyzed data sets to help inform future work at the school-level and at our organization. I assisted in grant writing, conference submissions and presentations, and evaluation reports. I was the sole author of several briefs/fact sheets that informed local government officials as well as community members, partners, and other stakeholders. I consulted with outside clients on program evaluation, specifically helping a local nonprofit to evaluate their work and write a grantee report. I act as a consultant to the Village on special projects.

Worked as part of the Education unit on a project funded by the Wallace Foundation to collect data on and evaluate summer learning programs in cities across the U.S. Conducted extensive literature review and synthesis, assisted with interviewing, administered surveys. Designed an independent project and presented a professional briefing of preliminary findings.
