About Andrew Lamont

I am a rising Senior in the Honors College at The University of Wisconsin-Madison pursuing a double major in International Studies (Global Security) and Geography (Human Geography), with additional certificates in Middle Eastern Studies, European Studies, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Furthermore, my Arabic and Spanish language skills. are most specifically related to National Security applications. Outside the classroom, I enjoy spending time in Philanthropy efforts as a member of the Theta Delta Chi Fraternity. My volunteer interests center around opioid abuse prevention and education. After walking onto the Men's Rowing Team at the University of Wisconsin, I now coach local youth at the Mendota Rowing Club.For Summer 2024, I am working as an intern in Congressman Rudy Yakym’s Office in Indiana’s second district, as well as working as a research assistant for Professor Stephen Brooke of the University of Wisconsin Political Science Department. For Summer 2025, I am in search of an internship or employment opportunity that will support my ultimate career goal of joining the United States Intelligence Community.
