I have over 14 years’ working experience in development sector as a M&E Specialist (10 years in managerial positions) with different national and international NGOs/Donors including: USAID, DFID, EU, ADB, WB, UNDP, WFP, UNICEF, DAI, Oxfam, Diakonie, ISCOS-CISL, Relief International, National Rural Support Programme, AJK Rural Support Programme and government line departments of AJK. As a Manager M&E of USAID Citizens’ Voice Project (a 7 years project of worth USD 45 Million), I had successfully managed the monitoring and evaluation functions of 279 grants implemented by 202 CSOs under 19 thematic areas. I have sound knowledge and wide technical expertise of different sectors and thematic areas, including: democracy, policy advocacy/governance reforms (Tax Sector, Election, Water, Energy, 18th Amendment, Frontier Crime Reforms, Education, Municipal Administration, Local government, Media and Ombudsmen), social mobilization, livelihoods, education, reconstruction & rehabilitation, disaster risk reduction, WASH and health projects. In addition, I have directly managed and coordinated more than 10 development and humanitarian projects as a project manager/coordinator. I have a very good understanding of and technical expertise in developing and designing result-based management systems, performance management plans, accountability mechanisms, Logframes, M&E frameworks, and theories of change. I have developed and contributed to the Log Frame, TOC for the DFID CDIP programme, USAID Citizens’ Voice Project and many other projects. In addition, I have facilitated 125 CSOs in formulating performance management plans. I have also developed detailed M&E Manuals including required tools for data collection, monitoring, analysis and reporting for the USAID Citizens’ Voice Project and DFID CDIP Programme. I have expertise in conducting research studies and evaluations in different thematic areas.
