MEAL Manager has the overall responsibility of managing the MEAL team and provide the strategic direction for the team. The MEAL manager, under supervision of Programme Quality Director provides the overall strategic direction for the MEAL work in the country office and has overall responsibility of designing the MEAL work in a way that it corresponds with the organizations’ changing needs and is in line with CAMSA. The MEAL manager provides direct support for development and review of the results frameworks as well as performance management system for the Country Programme to ensure these are in line with the country strategy. In close coordination with subject matter experts (Programme/Project managers), support the development of the technical strategy/approach for the MEAL work. MEAL manager contributes to the learning agenda in the country office particularly in designing the impact studies and evaluations as well contribute to framework for social accountability.

Consolidating Democracy in Pakistan (CDIP) is a two and a half year, £22 million, programme funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID) and Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO). The objective of CDIP is to support the consolidation of democratic practice in Pakistan, through strengthening the capacity of its political institutions to be more capable, accountable and responsive to the needs and aspirations of the Pakistani people. MEL Specialist is responsible for development and/or refinement of the MEL framework and plan, including theory of change, log frame – indicators, milestones and targets – monitoring plan and data sources; contribute to monitor, on an ongoing basis programme performance and results; providing regular updates; collaborate with MEL team on high quality data collection, collation and analysis; help in ensuring knowledge generated is shared and lessons learnt institutionalised, in conjunction with the programme’s communications team; contribute to engagement with stakeholders, DFID and FCO, as appropriate and follow project management practices that are in compliance with DAI and DFID contractual rules and regulations, with the support of the operations and finance team.

USAID Citizens’ Voice Project is a seven years project and is being implemented by the Trust for Democratic Education and Accountability (TDEA). The goal of this project is to “improve engagement between citizens and government on priority program-supported initiatives to advance good governance objectives”. This is a US$45 million project. Under the project, 800-1,000 grants are to be awarded to Pakistani entities across the country over a five year period.My major job responsibilities are Development of M&E Tools, development of M&E frameworks, PMPs, M&E plans, Training and Capacity Building of grantees regarding M&E systems and methods, Evaluation & Research, Institutional Assessments, Grants Implementation, Communication & Reporting, database management and Coordination

AJK Rural Support Program (AJKRSP) is a not for profit organization, set up and registered under section 42 of the Companies Ordinance 1984 on October 29, 2007. It has presence in all 10 districts of the State of AJK. Being a prime auxiliary of the Government of AJK, the AJKRSP is to undertake community development projects by establishing and empowering grassroots institutions throughout the State.

NRSP is the largest Rural Support Programme in the country in terms of outreach, staff and development activities. It is a not for profit organization registered under Section 42 of Companies Ordinance 1984.
