As a Community Navigator at World Relief Sacramento, I provide orientation, information, and referrals to various services and resources, such as health, education, employment, and legal assistance. I also facilitate cultural diversity and coexistence among different communities.Prior to this role, I worked as a Cultural Orientation Associate at World Relief, where I delivered workshops and trainings on American culture, values, and norms for newly arrived immigrants. I also contributed to several projects and initiatives that promoted cross-cultural understanding, dialogue, and exchange. Before joining World Relief, I was a Supervisory Security Investigator at the U.S. Embassy, Kabul, Afghanistan, where I supervised a team of Foreign Service National Investigators and conducted background checks and interviews for employment and recertification of current employees. I have developed strong skills in communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and leadership throughout my professional journey.
