Created service oriented architecture to deliver aggregate data (as json) from multiple disparate sources. Services provided the data backbone that supported a cloud based infrastructure and proved to be highly scalable and performant. Utilized NetKernel with a riak nosql store but replaced NetKernel in favor of a Spring/Jersey implementation. Also integrated memcached for distributed caching.Additionally worked on a project to created a stateless set of restful services intended to provide commerce interactions with the order management system. This project also used Jersey and stored all order interactions in a Apigee UserGrid implementation (backed by a Cassandra nosql store).

Developed a web-based reporting application to track and predict the operational costs of nursing homes and long/short term healthcare facilities. We used HighCharts JavaScript library to display a rich set of visualizations from blended data sources and took advantage of Freemarker templating and a blend of Prototype and jQuery client side scripting.
