Worked as a member of the Preformulation group while making significant contributions to biologics and small molecule projects. Work focused on formulation support and determination of candidates' drug-like properties from early discovery through FIH.

Supported the development of ready-to-use drug product in a strict GMP/GLP environment. This work consisted of purity/stability studies of stressed samples.Research Project Highlihgts: Optimized and performed reverse-phase and size-exclusion HPLC assays to determine the purity of drug products as well as their isomer distributions. Utilized a Polyethylene Glycol HPLC assay to gauge the efficacy of PEG-removing procedures. Maintained highly organized research (lab notebook, chromatogram binder, slide presentations)while operating in a fast-paced and demanding environment. Trained and operated in a project team under minimal supervision.

Collaborated within an academic research laboratory and developed projects focused on identification and quantification of natural product metabolites from cranberries.Research Project Highlights: Led the development/optimization of a novel HPLC/NMR-based approach to the quantification ofbioactive metabolites within, but not limited to, cranberry extracts. Generated datasets for fivedifferent compounds while uncovering leads to investigate additional constituents. Periodically implemented LC-MS, UV/VIS, GC, TLC, and IR in projects. Coordinated with collaborators from Bruker Biospin to ensure the efficacy of NMR experiments. Employed non-targeted principle component analysis and one-way ANOVA to detect/identifysources of variation among sample populations Implemented industry-standard DMAC Assay to determine proanthocyanidin content in cranberries. Troubleshot issues with instrumentation and programs that impacted research progress. Trained incoming students on techniques/instruments/responsibilities specific to their research. Self-taught laboratory techniques without direct assistance.
