Subsequent to Dell's acquisition of AppAssure, implemented a rapid growth strategy for R&D teams based on substantial additional investment and rapid revenue growth. Responsible for leading design and architecture of software features, support escalations, and integration opportunities with partners and appliance teams.Built off-shore support engineering team bridging the gap between support and development, providing dramatically improved response time for support cases from critical customers.Responsible for capex and opex spend for AppAssure R&D.

Chief architect and development lead of international, multi-disciplinary team of software and QA engineers building the next generation of backup and disaster recovery software for mission-critical systems.Grew development team from three US-based developers to over one hundred software engineers and QA professionals in the US and Eastern Europe. Built Eastern Europe team in person, assembling a hand-picked team of managers, leads, engineers, and testers. Defined and implemented engineering practices and policies as needed, including test code coverage, code reviews, release process, and support escalation management.
