About Angelica Johnson
If you are looking at my profile, please connect with me and say hi! :)~Hi there! My name is Angelica Johnson, and I graduated from the University of Southern California in 2022 with a degree in Psychology, and a minor in Consumer Behavior. I forged my way through college as a low-income, first-generation student (FGLI), and I am the first from my high school to become a Questbridge scholar. I also am the first in my family to not only graduate from college, but also to graduate from high school. Before USC, I previously attended Haverford College for a year and then attended Rowan College at Burlington County as a sophomore.Today, I work at Microsoft through the two-year Microsoft ACE rotational program. For my first year, I worked in Communications under the Global Employee and Executive Communications team. In this role, I supported over 1,100 communicators across the company with the goal to connect them with the resources they need to help support their own leaders and to keep their employees informed, engaged, and proud to be at Microsoft. Then, I worked in Xbox as a First-Party Games Business Planner. Using data analysis, I worked with Finance, PMMs, and other teams to collect business metrics on sales, revenue, games performance, etc. to help inform business decisions across our 16+ studios. Now, I am currently a new PMM on the Microsoft 365 Copilot side as a graduated ACE.Outside of work, I serve as a leader within Out in Marketing, an ERG at Microsoft focused on creating an inclusive culture for LGBTQIA+ employees within the company. I am currently one of the communications leads, as well as a founding member of the newest career development team. On the Xbox side, I also work on the Xbox LGBTQIA+ leadership team to create and promote events within the organization. I also serve as a mentor within Rise First, a national organization that empowers both FGLI students and professionals across the country. I am deeply committed to supporting FGLI and LGBTQI+ students in achieving their goals and realizing their dreams.
