Graduate Design Technician

A family owned business, my role as supervisor goes beyond the title. Growing up running a two retail businesses I have valuable experience regarding management, customer service and an all round knowledge of business and economy. With a staff of thirty employees; I work well within a team as well as a delegator.

Position was attained as part of a placement year through University; after six months placement I was promoted to employee status. Responsibilities included assisting Mr. McFarland with design projects, accompanying on site visits, creating CAD drawings for meetings and being responsible for purchase, ordering and stock maintenance. As well as working as part of a design team, Mr. McFarland allowed me the freedom to work independently; managing the studio in his absence and tending to clients if required.
