We all have moments when our inner voice pushes us toward something new and meaningful. For me, this led to the founding of Sensorium Studios, a Section 8 design consultancy dedicated to bridging the gap between theory and practice, with a focus on education and social impact. At Sensorium, we collaborate with NGOs and organizations in Sikkim, applying design thinking to create practical solutions that foster social good. It’s more than just a studio—it’s about driving change through design.Before founding Sensorium, I worked with PLF in Sikkim, developing creative solutions for the education sector. This role exposed me to the crucial role design plays in educational development and innovation.Prior to PLF, I was a UX Designer at Shell, where I helped design a statistical tool for financial modeling. My responsibility was ensuring it was functional and accessible to users worldwide, allowing seamless collaboration across Shell’s teams. I also worked closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging IBM tools to deliver user-centered solutions.Earlier in my career, as Design Lead at DezyIt, I worked across industries such as manufacturing, finance, and AI, tackling complex challenges and refining my skills in UI/UX design, usability testing, and product management.The last two years have been a phase of transition, moving from corporate work to a focus on social impact. While pushing myself to blend design and social impact hasn’t always been easy it’s been rewarding lately. With the founding of Sensorium Studios, I’m now channeling all the experience I've gathered to create something more meaningful and impactful. As I continue to grow in this field, I’m always looking for new opportunities to collaborate and explore.
