Co authored the ECRR toolkit for Early Childhood Educators. Worked with 5 other authors to craft the toolkit to reach daycare providers, family caregivers, Headstart and other early childhood educators.

Coordinates and oversees children’s and teen services (Birth – 18 years-old) systemwide; Develops, oversees, plans and implements programs, resources and services for this age group; Acts as liaison between Harford County Public Library and outside groups, agencies and organizations serving targeted age group; Is Library’s statewide representative for children’s and teen related boards and organizations.

As a member of the Branch Management Team, supervises the activities of programming and outreach, for all ages, to ensure excellent customer service.

Implemented 8th grade language arts curriculum, teaching heterogeneous grouped classes daily. Contributions; Serves as team leader for the eight grade educational team, leading a team of seven teachers. Responsibilities include data analysis, instructional support, service learning coordination, and plan student success celebrations and field trips, liaison between administration and teachers, scheduling parent teacher conferences. Serves a department Chair for Reading/Language Arts- Writing Serves a co chair for the Positive Behavior Intervention System as well as the House System. Mentor to new teachers with in the school as well as across the county.

Implemented 7th grade language arts curriculum, teaching two heterogeneous grouped classes’ and a remedial co taught class daily. Contributions; Served as the National Junior Honor Society Sponsor and Wrote chapter by laws and set conditions for induction in accordance with NJHS constitution. Taught and Language arts class of approx.10 students in an after school remedial program- Pirates Club Began and Organized a Scrabble Club with funds received via the US Mint Small Grant Program. Participated in Education that is Multicultural Committee as Esperanza’s representative Served as team leader for the seventh grade educational team, leading a team of seven teachers.
