Lead, plan, coordinate, and oversee the prioritization, development, and implementation of the Port of Seattle’s (Port) environmental justice efforts, programs, and policies.

Led City of Seattle’s (City) Duwamish Valley Program, an effort to advance environmental justice, equitable development, and climate and community resilience; address racial inequities and disparities; build community capacity; create strong economic pathways; and build trust in government. Developed and coordinated the organization’s first culturally inclusive community engagement and education project related to the cleanup of contaminated sediment sites and pollution source control in Port Gardner Bay, Everett, WA.

Developed, coordinated, and implemented the dive center’s environmental conservation, restoration, and sustainability projects and programs, including designing projects to 1) establish coral gardens at the dive center and around Utila; 2) remove invasive species of lionfish (Pterois spp.); 3) produce biodiesel from waste vegetable oil to operate the dive.

Led field trips to different areas of the north coast of Honduras to assess the condition of the ecosystem and the presence of jaguars (Panthera onca).

Instructed, prepared teaching material, graded weekly reports, and administered exams for multiple sessions of laboratory courses.

Supervised a crew of six habitat restoration specialists from diverse backgrounds and nationalities. Managed logistics for daily projects, including planting plan design and monitoring, stream restoration, invasive plants control, erosion control, construction and maintenance of trails, and plant nursery management.
