At the American Cancer Society, I assist cancer patients, those at risk of cancer, and those affected by cancer by providing resources to help them gain access to care, financial assistance, emotional support, and empowerment through vital information dissemination. I utilize technologies to explore realistic health insurance options for patients who are losing coverage or who are uninsured; to explore potential clinical trial matches for patients looking for a treatment option that could help them; and to inform constituents with cancer concerns with up to date information that is relevant to their situation.
