The Algemene Rekenkamer (AR) is the state audit institution. The goal of the AR is to provide parliament with reasonable assurances of the validity of expenses incurred and to promote the efficiency of the ministries and the effective spending of state funds. My job is to provide research for these goals, especially in the field of IT and the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations.

Thomashuis Gouda is a living facility / home for a small number (<9) of mentally disabled people. Home ran together with associate. Goal is to let the residents have a life of satisfaction and happiness. The business is sustained by a small number of staff and uses the franchise construction of De Drie Notenboomen (Thomashuizen Nederland). Activities: starting up and running a business with staff, taking care of our residents, budget forecasts, evaluations with stakeholders, et cetera.

- Managing the program net-effectiveness UWV Werkbedrijf: starting up and leading effectiveness studies on all kinds of Public Employment Services instruments. E.g. randomised experiments on effectiveness for 50plus, conversations, speeddates and e-services in association with researchers.- Participating in the European Commission Benchmarking Group Public Employment Services (PES). Being part of the assessorteam for PES Estonia and PES Slovakia.- Implementing action plan 'added value UWV Werkbedrijf'​; bring focus on 'evidence based policy and services' to indicate benefits for society.- Making business cases for several public emploment service activities. E.g. suitable work offers, services in an early stage of unemployment, et cetera. Bring exploitation costs in relation to benefit costs reduction.- Making propositions for filling in budget restraints.

Division: Strategy, Policy and KnowledgeManaging, advising and coordinating activities about:- the valuable contribution of Werkbedrijf, using best practices of economic models from Germany- analysing election programs of political parties in elections 2010 en 2012- experiments concerning netto-effectiveness of services (e.g. face-to-face service)- the introduction of a new economic model for unemployment welfare expenditure and incapacity welfare expenditure- matching and harmonising expenditure cuts imposed from the governmental agreement- the insurance premium system- facts and figures UWV- a strategic vision for future years- the theoretical probable revision of the social security system seen from the perspective of UWV
